Today was the first day back at school for my youngest daughter Amy Elizabeth. I have to wait until after 5 to get the scoop on how the day went ! ( Amy has after school band practice ) I am always blue when school starts after the short summer break. I have always been one of those mothers that actually enjoyed my kiddo's home during the summer months. SCHOOL DAYS SCHOOL DAYS , DEAR OLD GOLDEN RULE DAYS !!! Yep, they are here again. But in the while of saying this ...summer break will be here soon, cause time really is speeding faster and faster, at least for me it seems to be. Amy is in the 10th grade this year.

I enjoyed my kiddo's being home in the summer also. That summer break ... it comes and goes too dang fast! And now look ... it's been 7 yrs since my youngest was in high school! To remind myself of that fact ... well ... it's nuts to think about!
